Report on POCSO, POSH & Gender Sensitization Session
The Kota Deanery Women Commission session on Goal 2was conducted on 4th October 2026 at St. Joseph the Worker’s Parish, Kota Jn. Nearly 45 women from three parishes participated in the session.
The session on POSH and POCSO was conducted by the Diocesan Secretary, Mrs. Kajal Samuel, creating awareness about the protection and safety of women and children.
A session on Gender-Based Violence was conducted by Mrs. Winnie John focusing on awareness, prevention, and the importance of creating a safe and respectful environment.
Various activities were conducted with the women, making the session interactive and participatory. Video clips related to POSH, POCSO, and Gender-Based Violence were also shown to enhance understanding of the topics.
The session was informative and meaningful, encouraging the women to be more aware, empowered, and responsible in promoting safety, dignity, and equality in society.
