In collaboration with the diocese, a training program on gender sensitivity and gender-based violence was organized for the women's group. Twenty eight women enthusiastically participated. All of them actively participated in the training.
The main objective of this program was to raise awareness about gender equality, human dignity, mutual respect, and equal rights for boys and girls.
Everyone in the family should have equal rights and respect. Through this training, women were made aware of the need to address gender inequality and discrimination prevalent in society. During the training, women were encouraged to bring positive change to their families and society and to eliminate gender discrimination. They were also made aware of the need for equal opportunities, respect, and rights for both men and women. With this the training concluded.
